Christina Delighianni
Institute for Sustainable Development at EPLO
Ms. Christina Deligianni serves as the Public Policy Officer of the Institute for Sustainable Development at EPLO and is the Managing Director of the Verture Group of companies. With more than 20 years of experience in public policy and business development in the public and private sector, her fields of expertise include ESG, sustainable development, innovation and the blue economy. She has been selected by the EU Commission as an EU Climate Pact Ambassador and has expertise in leading EU-funded programs. Conceptualized and curated the ESG Greece newsletter with more than 15,000 GDPR-approved subscribers (2021-2022). Co-author of the following papers in 2022: “Greek Climate Law Recommendations” and “Assessing the ecosystem values of the Selvagens Islands in Madeira, Portugal, from a socio-economic perspective using an ESG approach”. She holds an MA in the Humanities (University of Chicago, Fulbright Scholar), and a BA in English and Greek (University of Athens, Valedictorian) and has been trained in Public Diplomacy and Cultural/Educational Affairs (Foreign Service Institute, US Department of State).
